This low form rests on four points, like a still creature waiting for activation.
It draws from an archaic language, simple lines, primitive tension — yet enters into a contemporary dynamic.
Hand-shaped in air-drying clay, Protoform .III is not yet complete: it is in standby.
It will soon welcome living pigments, turmeric, saffron, minerals that will reveal its layers of meaning, its chromatic mutations.
This hybrid artifact born of gesture, intention, and digital potential. It is part of Collection .0, the first cycle of shifting forms, witness-objects of a material in transformation.

This memory left a trace.
From that trace, Protoform .III was born: a quiet, hollow, grounded form.
Its yellow doesn’t come from the material, but from a gaze.
*The state officially changed its name from Orissa to Odisha in 2011. In this book, the historical name Orissa is used when referring to events that took place before the change.
